Summer time tips for marketing by Nathan Maggard

Summer time is seen by any small businesses as the time to race to become profitable.

The summer months bring buyers out of hybernation in many industries.

That means it's really race time for marketers like us here at Market Me Tennessee.

A few tips for marketers:

Tip one: keep your core happy: don't stop servicing your core clients in lue of the shiny new ones. They keep you profitable in slower times. Take care of them!

Tip two: don't stretch too thin..you'll alienate everyone and your rep will be worse for the wear in the long run.

Tip three: sleep. You'll be twice as productive and twice as motivated if you hit the sack on time. Keep yourself to a maximum of one all- nighter per week. Preferrably on a Friday. Saturday treat yourself to a healthy sleep-in.

Last tip: if youre running full steam, reject the small deals. They'll bog you down and lower personal moral..stay away from them and refer them to a less busy friendly competitor.
